I was very happy to get my order in time to give as a Christmas present. It matches the set my reative has perfectly. It is a large bowl that can be used for individual soup serving, or perhaps as a small serving bowl on the table for vegtables, etc.

Just as ordered and my wife is happy to finish 16 place settings (could we move christmas to every 2 or 3 years?). It ended not meeting my needs. I have the pasta bowl and the soup bowl from the set and they are not the same size. It appears that they are now the same size.
