this is a great pie server, since the edge is cerrated, it can even cut through the pie (so you don't have to dirty 2 utensils), and it's so much better than me trying to get pie slices out with a knife and fork

I normally love OXO Good Grips items, but this one is a rare exception. I found that the triangle part was too small and too springy, meaning that the pieces of pie I was trying to serve were invariably smushed. I primarily bake fruit pies with a butter or a butter and almond crust, and the crusts are rather delicate. The pie server tried to dig under the bottom of the crust, but was too thick and broke it, and the flexible wires then lifted the bottom crust right into the filling. If this sounds strange, it looked even worse, with the bottom crust up inside the pie, and the piece of pie completely ruined.

I'm going to spend a few extra dollars and buy a more conventional pie server, with a thin blade and a normal shape. (none of those wires!)
