My daughter needed a tea kettle, they were using a sauce pan to boil water. So this was a gift. Just an "I love you" gift. When this pot is on the stove the whistle is always engaged. Just what they need at their house. Because I hate to tell you how many times they put water on to boil and forget. They are all very happy with it.It was really fast delivery, I'm very pleased.

It works pretty well, cleans easily, good size for the amount of tea I want to make. I sometimes have a hard time getting the spout cap to open when pressing the lever; maybe because it's still new or I'm a weakling. The tea kettle works great and looks nice. It does get spotty after a while and needs some polishing. I've had mine for almost a year and use it quite a bit.
