This cookware set is good for its job.

I use small one for milk/tea heating, does not burn/stain at bottom.

pots are slightly heavy. Finishing is awesome. All the pots have thick bottom for even heat distribution.

Justifies its cost.

First of all, after many years, it's great to have pots with lids! I like the handle type on the lids and pans, no more loosening and swiveling. I'm still learning how to cook eggs in the fry pan, they do stick, but clean-up is easy when you follow the manufacturer's recommendations or use a little non-scratch cleaner. I would buy more.

I was looking for a well-made, nice looking set with a lid for the pan at a decent price and that's what I got. i've had great and awful pots and pans and these are constructed in a very different way. The bottom is encapsulated so heat is distributed well. the sides are thin but very strong so they are bottom heavy but lighter than pots with even construction. the handles are riveted to the pots, not screwed on. also, the black covers on the handles and lids do get hot so you will need a pot holder but that is stated in the product literature very clearly. I used the pan to make a sauce and one pot to boil water for pasta. The base distributes heat very well; I had to keep the gas on low to maintain a simmer, so low that it blew out sometimes. The pan cleaned up easily with hand washing in warm water with Dawn. Hand washing is recommended but I don't have a dishwasher so that's not a problem. My only problem is that I wish the handles did not get hot.

I was glad it came as we needed new cookware, the stuff we had was old and rusty or pitted After using this cookware for a while, about 6 month's it now has burnt and bottoms pitted. So still looking for new cookware. The inside is discolored and all we boil is water. I will tell you don't get it.
