I have been using Berndes cookware since the day I bought my first piece at a sale my local hardware store was having. They had one of the traditions 9 1/2 fry pan with lid for practically nothing. I took it home and was blown away by the quality and durability of this little pan. I then looked on the web and discovered they were of reasonably high value. I ordered a few more pieces from Amazon and eventually threw out all of my Calphalon and other cookware. I have my family and friends in the process of converting to Berndes also (one skillet as a Christmas gift is all it takes).

You simply are not going to find better cookware in this price range.

Don't waste money on Calphalon, W.Puck, Pampered Chef, or any other cookware in the High-end consumer range. Just buy Berndes and be happy.

We've been using this set for over a year now and it still holds up great to any challenging meal after all this time. Even with the wear of everyday use the set still maintains its integrity while evenly heating and cooking all varieties of food to perfection. We've never had an issue with food sticking to the surface while cooking or during clean up. The cast aluminum and non-stick coating has been a dream. I would recommend the Berndes line of cookware to anyone seriously interested in cooking quality meals.

We used this skillet for about 6 months and the bottom started chipping and peeling. We used plastic spoons and spatulas 100% of the time with this skillet. I would not recommend this cookware and their customer service is terrible. We shipped the skillet back to them for warranty and they just basically blew us off. DO NOT BUY THIS COOKWARE!!!

I was excited to get cookware with the handles molded in and not riveted. We used it heavily for several years but replaced it with T fal ultimate so we could have the escape valve in the lid and better nonstick surface. Still using the big pot and smaller pans but skillet is all scratched up and all I ever use are bamboo stirring spoon never used metal.

I have three pieces of Berndes; love the quality. The wooden handles are the best, but beware of the dishwasher for no wood should regularly be placed in the dishwasher. Occasionally I will put my Berndes pieces in the dishwasher on normal, no drying heat, but usually I hand wash all pots and pans. The heat distributes very well, clean up is a breeze. One note: like all coated cookware, you can get a build up of grease on the outside if you are not a hyper-cleaner. But they respond well to the old ammonia in a plastic bag (don't put the handle in!) trick for serious degreasing. About to buy their "sauteuse" pan for stove to table convenience.
