The pan is just what I was looking for to replace my old one whose coating was starting to chip. Its good in the oven up to 400 degrees so you can sear those filet mignons on the stovetop then finish cooking in the oven.

These KitchenAid pans are heavy duty and well made utensils. I have a larger size pan of the same make and it has served me well for several years. I expect this 8.5 in her to do the same. For a well made non-stick pan like this at this price it is a bargain.
