I had two Berndes pans...a 11" frypan and a 1 qt. saucepan but needed something a big larger. When I saw this set included the 2 QT saucepan and all the pieces with it at that price I couldn't resist! I have been thru three green pans this past year and my other half ruined each of them. I decided to let him try my older Berndes frypan and nothing sticks to it and we use NO OIL! So I am very happy right now to have this set, specially at the price. I almost paid more for the two older pans than this entire set! All I have to do is take a rag and wipe them out! I love them and recommend them highly so hope this helps anyone who is undecided to buy them!

I've been a Berndes lover. I have not seen them sold in the stores for some reason. I got my first set of Berndes eight years ago and the coating just started to come off a little bit. They heat up evenly and are very durable. I like non-stick pots and pans but most of them are cheaply made. If you like non-stick professional pots and pans this is the one to go for. I cook a great deal and have owned this set (plus several additions of the same series) for seven years. This cookware is amazing! I cannot have a gas range so am stuck with an electric cooktop -having electric vs gas does matter in your choice of cookware and my review is based on electric. Berndes signocast cooks slowly and evenly, holding correct temperatures for the duration of cooking. We are so amazed with this cookware that we have actually TRIED to get foods to stick and can't do it! Everything simply wipes out. I admit I baby this cookware: I never use metal utensils nor do I stack these unless I put a dishtowel between pots. I have owned and used a pan or two of all the major high end brands all of which I have given away...nothing beats Berndes. The only negative review comment I can agree with is that they are heavy I agree only because they would be difficult for someone with arthritis or other lifting disability otherwise, the weight is actually a very positive aspect of the pans which allows for consistent heat distribution.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Berndes SignoCast Classic 7-Piece Cookware Set
This cookware is well worth your money! I love cooking with it. I like southern cooking so this is like using cast iron without the weight and so easy to clean up. The 9 1/2 inch skillet lid fits the 7 qt. stock pot. When I can afford it I will buy a second set.
