I bought this dough scraper for use with making bread. However I now also use it to slice foods and to scoop the contents from the cutting board into a pan for cooking. I also use it to sweep crumbs off the counter or table. It is hard plastic and stainless steel so it will outlast me. It is cheap enough to buy even if you are not sure you would use it often.

This dough scraper was ground flat as it arrived, but if it weren't it would be easy to grind it flat and sharpen it if desired. I chose this model due to combination of low cost and simple design. If I lost it I would buy another one.

WHAT THIS PRODUCT DOES:

-Easily scrapes dough off the counter

-Washes up nicely

-Is very shiny

WHAT THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT DO:

-Perform magic tricks

-Summon unicorns

-Produce fairies

This scraper does its job admirably and is easy to clean. It works well for its intended purpose, but it does not have any of the special features (magic tricks, etc) that I had expected.

I had one of these but lost it in one of my many moves. This is great and I use it just as much as the old one. I use it to transfer cut things into bowls or pans as well as scraping up dough and other things that stick.

Okay for the price, but I would go for the plastic handle the next time because of the weight of the wood. Also, the handle was a little loose on the one that I received, but you get what you pay for right?

This little gadget is great! My only complaint is the Made in China Sticker that is affixed to the blade is nearly impossible to get off without lots of scrubbing! If the sticker is a requirement, I would have preferred it to be on the handle, not on the blade where the residue left behind might come in contact with my food.
