It's a pan.

It's aluminum, and it's decently heavy gauge. If I'd paid $50 I might have expected something even thicker, but at $14 it's as good as you'll find.

The handle's good, the shape is good, the non-stick works fine so far and it all seems pretty durable.

And it's made in the US if that matters to you.

Product cannot be beat for the price. Just be aware that if you place this in the dishwasher, the detergent will etch the finish but for my purposes it's a good find at a great price

I purchased this 8-inch Saute, the 12-inch Saute and the 3 Qt Saucepan from the Kitchen Classics cookware line. After doing extensive research online and in-stores, I decided to try my luck with these pans. Wow! I can't believe the look, feel and performance of these products and at these prices!

The pans feel "heavy" but not in a bad way at all. They are very thick-walled aluminum and stainless steel construction, which helps evenly distribute and control the heat so my food doesn't burn.

The Teflon nonstick coating I can tell is very durable and has been extremely effective every time I've used it. No need for any spray at all, so my cooking is healthier too.

I love the feel of the handles they have a bit of a rubberized grip, but with a soft touch. The rivets are very strong and high-quality, one of the features I really wanted in my new cookware.

What sets this cookware apart from competitors of similar quality is the PRICE. There is no way I could buy a national brand piece like this 8-inch saute pan at these prices, AND get all the features and quality that are important to me. I plan to purchase the rest of the items in this line to complete my new cookware set!

I bought both the 10" and 8" sauté pans and can't get over the solid feel and thick wall construction.

I sauté often and found the Teflon high end finish to be superior then what I have used in the past. I would recommend these pans to any of my family and friends. I will look at buying the matching stir fry and sauce pans.
