I really like how wide this spatula is, works great for bigger food items like pancakes, fish, pork chops. Even though it's wide the spatula is wide, it's sturdy and doesn't bend when lifting food. I really like how thin the front end is, easy to get under dippy eggs to flip them. I use the serrated edge when browning hamburger, chop onions more while they are cooking & to check if meat is done. The only thing you can't do is use this spatula in a small frying pan, not an issue for me

This is significantly larger than expected, but is great for pancakes and perfect for larger items. It is very sturdy and cleans easily. It measures as almost 5 inches wide by almost 6 inches long.

I'm a huge fan of Joseph Joseph Kitchen utensils/gadgets, but I do admit some of their products aren't too effective and worth your money. But this spatula is definitely not one of them! The large surface area helps to flip my pancakes without fail every time, and the serrated cutting edges make it even more useful than other spatulas (especially when cooking fish and other soft food that needs a gentle knifing action). Because of its big size, the spatula doesn't fit my utensil holder on the kitchen counter and so I have to lay it down flat inside the cabinets. But that doesn't deter me from using this everyday and loving it more and more! Excellent product; highly recommended :)

I bought this along with a new griddle. I wasn't sure it would be thin enough to really get up under the pancake (or whatever) to flip it. THIS IS A MUST FOR COOKING PANCAKES! :) IT WORKS GREAT! AWESOME! Shipped quickly, too! LOVE!

We got this specially for turning delicate fish fillets like sole, which tend to come apart when turning with a regular sized spatula. This spatula works well for that job and also for flipping pancakes.
