I bought this little casserole dish to use inside my Secura Halogen Infrared Turbo Convection Countertop Oven MINI, extender Ring;tong;cook Racks CO-05MH and am vey happy with the purchase. It is pretty and sturdy and looks good on the table. It is oven safe to 500 and the Halogen only gets up to 450 so it is safe in there.
It is almost like an oversized cereal bowl with a pretty lid! One quart isn't a size I've had before but now I can see it will come in very useful. I am cooking for two people.

I have been looking for a covered casserole dish for oven to table for quite some time. These are the perfect size for reheating and serving dinner for two. Recently dropped and broke an old favorite baking dish, thinking all the time I could never replace it. Wrong! Found this on Amazon, bought it, received it promptly and put it right to use. New Favorite!!! Cooked my baked beans as well or better than the old dish. Really a fine looking + well made piece of crockery.I'm an amateur potter (no longer practicing) so I go nuts over quality.
