Cheap Oster Reversible Grill Griddle With ceramic Non-Stick Coating

I have a number of "green pans" that are ceramic coated. I've had them for over a year, and I really like them. They do become less effective over time, but only slightly. I don't know what their long-term life is, but I like them much better than teflon.

This grill has the same grayish ceramic coating, and appears to be sturdily built. I've only used it twice, but I really like it. Only time will tell how well it holds up. I like the way it heats up quickly, doesn't stick, and has a setting in degrees so that I can repeat things. For example, I grilled tilapia (3 medium filets) and six longitudinally sliced zucchini on the grill last night, and 350 degrees worked perfectly. I'll know to use that same setting the next time. When using my pans on the stove, I'll need more than one to handle this much food, and with different burners and different pans the settings are much more difficult to remember (actually, I can't).

Clean up was a breeze, just as it is with my pans. I bought this on a whim at Sam's Club (for much less, by the way).

I'd recommend this to anyone. I'll try to update this some months from now to comment on durability.

I chose this ceramic grill, because I don't want the chemicals in the making to leach out into my food. I have used it a few times already and so far I'm very satisfied. In my opinon this grill is a small price to pay for your health. If my view changes I will post.
