I bought it to go with my nuwave cook top. My nuwave takes about 6 minutes till water starts to boil...but at least this has a totally flat bottom which is hard to find. Most cookware has an indention. It also works great on my flat top stove. I think it is great. I love everything about this pot...EVERYTHING!!!!!! Perfect size, perfect fit for my processing kitchen. I do lots of canning, and this pot is just what I needed.
