I had Purchased another Ice Cube Bin before, different Brand but it was Too Small the Trays did Not Lay Flat on Top of the Ice Cube Bin so when I got the "White Ice Cube Bin" by Sterilite...I had No Problems, my Rubbermaid Ice Cube Trays Finally they all Rest In Peace, they lay Flat on Top of the Sterilite Big Bin

The Ice Cube Bin serves several purposes, one obviously to storage Ice Cubes and another one, it provides a level surface for the Ice Cube Trays filled with water to lay on top of it and not been disturb while the water freezes as well as saving space in the freezer. You do not have to do it this way, however, this is how it's always been done long before Automatic Ice Makers..it is easy, simple and the Best Way. I love my Sterilite White Ice Cube Bin, and I don't use the Other One, the very first Ice Cube Bin, only as a Storage Container for Nails or Lemons

I order Sterilite White Ice Cube Bin, June 21/2011 and got it June 24...Super-Fast, Unbelievable and with out any Problems. You can Store a lot of Ice, I'm using 4 Trays Comfortably, also by laying the Trays on Top of the Ice Cube Bin they sort of Provided a Lid as well, keeping the Ice Cubes Covered and Fresher Longer, therefore, I think this is the Best Ice Cube Bin to Get... for Sure! If you want to stack your ice cube trays on top to keep the ice in the bin, fresher, the Rubbermaid Servin' Saver Deluxe Ice Cube Tray fits perfectly. (The Servin' Saver is actually a great product, too.)
