I have owned this for almost a year and I love it. It takes some getting used to and is much thicker than cooking twine, but it always holds the bird together and the stuffing inside. It's easy to wash and easy to use. It also doesn't stick to the item being trussed like cooking twine does, and the orange color makes it super-easy to spot. Very well designed tool.

for years i had been searching for something that would make it easier to truss poultry, specifically to sew up a turducken. if you have ever tried to wrestle with 20 lbs of various boneless birds and stuffing by yourself you will know what i mean.

the fusion foodloop lace is perfect for this. easy to remove and clean.great price.

my stitching still is not pretty but this does the job.

I thought it worked great while closing a turkey for Thanksgiving; so well I planned on buying another so I could close both ends next year.

Unfortunately, when the bird came out of the oven, the lacer was broken. Because of the ribbing the opening stayed closed, but the tool is no longer usable.

I am now the proud owner of an $8 small mesh bag. Lucky me.

This is my first lacer and it works great. Wish the needle had a better way to store to protect the point laying in the drawer.

Have only used it once, but what a breeze to sew up a turkey, so nice to be able to start at the end of the turkey cavity, sew all the way to the top, leave the loop in place , while it cooks, cut loop and turkey skin out, all is one piece, only trick to is make sure you do not cut the loop, when you go to get the dressing.

I buy many kitchen gadgets, some I use only once, then they go to the cutlery drawer, never to see the light of day again, others, I really like and use all the time, the silicone loop will be reused many times, it is so handy and makes stuffing a turkey so much easier. Any one that likes to cook should invest in this handy little tool. So far I have bought 8, have given them to friends and family. Good purchase from Amazon, will continue to shop at the site, they have some really neat merchandise!!!!
