This is the second of the Revol Belle Cuisine 7.5x7.5x2.5 I have purchased. Pricy? Yes worth every penny, because of its size, depth and it stacks well in storage. Perfect for my wife and me in capacity, yet generous enough to serve four or just the right amount saved for a later meal. It cleans up easily and will accommodate dishwasher cleaning (ours is white), but we usually hand wash it. Perfect for crisps, corn bread, scalloped or au gratin potatoes even a small lasagna (did I mention baked ziti?), a handy bean pot when covered with foil, not to mention delicious casseroles. Great utility ah, a wish list for for a Revol lid to fit this excellent baking dish.

There are a lot of pros to this casserole dish: lead and cadmium free glazed finish; dishwasher safe; handles for carrying from oven to table; chip resistant; freezer to oven safe; and it's a perfect size for a small lasagna. The only downside is that it's pricey.

In my experience cooking and baking are so much more enjoyable when good quality cookware is used. This baking dish is definitely superior quality.

I was sent a square plate (7.75 x 7.75 inches) but only a quarter inch high and no handles. You can't bake anything on it. I certainly would not spend so much money on a plate. Then I asked for it to be replaced with the baking dish and Amazon sent me another one square plate. Now I'm supposed to be getting a refund if I send them both back (more work -I have to package everything up, mail it and keep an eye on my credit card statement). Anyway, don't order it unless you want a square plate.

The red/black square baking dish looks great! However, the product informaton said it is dishwasher safe but after wash it for the first time, the red color part has black stain... become ugly. I wouldn't recommend to put it in the dishwasher!
