This is a really great set of scissors for the price. Owning Wusthof knives and a pair of come-apart kitchen sheers, I thought this set would be high quality and I was right. The scissors are sharp, solid and strong. The only thing I cant rave about is the little pruners. They lack the heft they need for anything other than tender stems. I think if Wusthof added another blade, they would do a better job, but the pruners have only one blade and the other surface is plastic, so you dont get a good, clean cut with a woody stem like a rose or lilacs. Other than that, the other pieces perform superbly, fit comfortably in the hand, and stand up to the abuse I give them. They are also dishwasher safe and come out sparkling. Yes I do recommend these. I have purchased another set as a gift.

Outrageous deal on high quality Wusthof shears. My wife is ecstatic. The set has five useful shears that do a fantastic job. When you use them you will appreciate the quality that Wusthof builds into them. Highly recommended.

The kitchen shears are worth 2/3 of the price.

The pruning shears are a bit on the light-duty side, however.

I use Wusthof knives with few complaints so I was happy to see this scissor collection from them. Much to my disappointment, the paper shears broke after one use. The center screw is partially plastic and just snapped so they cannot be fixed. You think they will screw back but they don't stay together. For the price, I would expect all joints to be better constructed for durability.
