I purchased a complete set of Visions pots and lids in 1987. I got the Double Boiler in 1989.. I have the 5 sauce pots from the small 1.5 cup size and lid, all the way up to the 3 quart size with lids... I have used all of them and I use Scotch Bright (the green sheet) scrubbers to clean the troubled spots from cooking (that I didn't watch too closely. I take the Scotch Bright sheet and cut it up into quarters so I have scrubbers that are ~ 3" x 2") I use these pots like I use any pot without too much tender care... just ordinary everyday use. I love them because I can see the cooking process, store in the frig, (don't put in the freezer as I use the pans to often) and use to reheat... and the small pots I use in my micro. After all the years of use some of the bottoms are not as clear as they were when they were new, but from all the Scotch Bright scrubbing I give them I am surprised they are as still "unscratched" as they are. For all the years I have had these, I would say that for the price of a $45.00 for one pan, and for using them for the past 25 years... that is $1.80 a year. I don't have the large "soup pot" but for all the sauce pans, I would NEVER have anything else. They are very health also, as there is NO aluminum or steel leaching into the foods. Salt water use has not affected my pots... I can't praise these enough. Lower temps of the stove burners are necessary with these pots than with metal pots. But mistakes are cleaned easily. The best price and variety of these pots and pans is on Amazon. Get one and try it... they are GREAT!
