We love this pot! It is sturdy, functional and attractive. We keep it on the stove all the time and use it often. My husband has taken up cooking as a hobby and we are learning to eat "nutritarian." That means lots of stews, soups and whole grain pasta dishes.

This is a great stock pot for making sauces and jam. Works well on flat top or glass top electric stove. Heavy bottom hold heat and helps cook more evenly on an electric burner. The pot is tall enough to cook large batches of sauce or jam without it splattering out. Great value for the cost.

My wife and I needed something with a little more capacity than the 8 qt stockpot we had, and this one was just the right size and at a good price. It may not be commercial quality, but for our use it is more than good enough. Fairly thick bottom seems to distribute the heat pretty well so you don't worry so much about scorching on the bottom. Nice smooth finish, lid fits well hard to find anything negative to say about it.
