The pan initially looks great and Black Friday price was very good. Nice feel. Very solid construction. Would display nicely hanging on pan rack. However, the pan came with a scratch on the rim. Cooked Salmon with Olive Oil. The results were excellent, but it took over 10 minutes to clean using Bar Keepers Friend. I was not impressed. I compared cooking the Salmon with the Cusinart Green Pan. I used no oil and results were comparable, if not better, than this pan and clean-up with less than a minute.

This is my favorite stainless steel pan now. It's flat, has great heat distribution, and heavy. People who complain don't know how to cook on stainless. Any stainless pan is going to cause sticking if you don't know what you're doing. Temperature is key. For meats, get it hot, and the food will release in a minute or two. Use a little cooking oil, and get it hot enough to just before the smoke point. Most of the time clean up only takes a few minutes with bar keepers friend. No mater how much stuck on oil I had, I could clean it in about 10 minutes. Comes out looking like brand new.

I highly recommend this product, and I think if used correctly, this BergoOFF pan will last a life time.

I have the BergHOFF Earthchef series and love them. This pan is absolutely terrible. Very light weight and EVERYTHING sticks to it no matter how or what you are cooking. Complete waste of money. Do not buy.

So first of all this is the first review for this item so accordingly when I bought it there was non :) Too bad for me ..may be I would no buy it if there would be a review. So here you go..

To begin with the packaging was horrible. The box came with the handle sticking out of it.

As long as I had a big issue and fight with American Kitchen because some of their 18/10 stainless steel is NOT a real stainless steel every time I buy 18/10 SS I check it. This one is NOT %100 18/10 SS (I mean those parts that suppose to be 18/10). However it is close and not that bad (I would say about %75 is 18/10) otherwise I would ship it strait back.

So I decided to give it a shot.

It heated very slowly and than cooled down same slow (which is normal and good).

I wasted about 12 eggs trying to fry them on low heat, on high heat, with different types of oil but no matter what I did I could not get even one normally fried egg. They just kept sticking to the pan.

I bought it here from Amazon for $32.31 and I will not return it but will look for some better option (better does not mean more expensive).

If you would ask me I would not suggest buying it.

Update: Just tried to fry some meat and it worked out almost perfectly. And that increased my opinion about this pan.

This is an excellent stainless steel pan. If you don't have experience with stainless steel you'll burn and stick on food for a while before you figure it out, but look around online for some tips.

I destroyed a meal in this pan when I first got it and took about 2 days to clean it up. Since then I've learned to cook on stainless properly and now use this pan around 10 times a week.

The pan itself is a perfect weight: it's solid and tough, I've bashed it around for 2 years, and thrown it from the stove into the sink countless times. It's in like-new condition still: flat across the bottom and no dents or significant scratches. The handle is comfy and stays cool reliably. I cooked crepes yesterday without a problem and couldn't see any hot-spots from the pan so it heats evenly enough for any normal meal.

Cleanup is normally as easy as a 5 minute soak plus a wipe with a sponge. For a good stuck-on mess, I'll leave it overnight and wipe it out easily the next morning. If you make a huge mistake and burn in some oil or something that won't wipe out, you can get pretty tough with the cleanup and the steel can handle the hard scrubbing you'll have to do (unlike a non-stick).

Overall great value and I'm very impressed with the quality of this pan, but if you're new to stainless steel you'll have some frustrating times figuring it out. Just remember it's not the pan's fault...
