I really like this griddle and would have given it 5 stars but for a detail.
Pros:
I use this griddle on an electric coil stove, on one large and one small burner. It heats very evenly even with the small burner, is heavy enough not to slide around while cooking, is light enough to move easily (vs. cast iron), and the non-stick surface make cleaning a breeze. It also has a grease gutter on the perimeter that can hold the griddle in place on the burner. The handles are vertical and grip extends slightly inward so it does not bang on the rear of the stove. It doesn't interfere with cooking as I thought it might.
Cons:
However, the grease gutter is about 1 inch all around that subtracts from the cooking surface, making the cooking area more like 11x18 instead of the listed 13x20. The transition from the cooking surface to the gutter is rounded so pancake batter poured near the edge can run into the gutter. It would have been better if the gutter was narrower and the edge was more square, but other non-cast iron models are designed similarly.
A good-quality product that I would buy again.

This griddle looks great, but I had to send mine back. This is because the bottom is raised about 3/8 inch due to the grease channel that runs around the perimeter, and it is thus not compatible with our ceramic cooktop. I contacted All-Clad, and they confirmed that it will not work on smooth cooktops. It would have been nice for the manufacturer to point this out in their product description, but they do not.Best Deals for All-Clad Nonstick Double Grill & Griddle
There is no cooking surface so confoundedly sticky as a non-stick surface that has been cooked on a few times. I did not fully understand this fact when I discarded my previous non-stick griddle and purchased this one. I will freely admit that I am not scrupulous at scrubbing every last molecule of food or cooking oil off a non-stick surface, but IMO that is supposed to be one of their charms: they are non-stick so no scrubbing is required. The All Clad being twice as expensive as my previous "non-stick" proved to be only about half as sticky with some things. But that still means that it can grab fast to food; and it usually does. The real reason I bought this griddle is that I needed something for cooking pancakes. And this unit has two problems. The first, I've already talked about: Unless it has been scrubbed to remove the last molecule of dirt and carefully oiled (which is difficult to do because oil and butter do not always wet the surface) pancakes stick and fall apart. Washing it in the dishwasher voids the warrantee, so there's no easy dodge for this problem. The second is that the griddle is slightly domed. This is a feature, I suppose, if one uses it only for frying very fatty bacon or sausages; but thin batters and eggs just run into the gutters. Sadly, there is nothing I cook that this system of doming and gutters improves. I use this griddle once in a blue moon to cook turkey bacon, but for the small batches I cook a skillet works better. So buy it if you are in the habit of cooking greasy bacon or sausage for large crowds. But for pretty much any other kitchen task I can think of, try something else.
Honest reviews on All-Clad Nonstick Double Grill & Griddle
This fabulous All Clad LTD griddle has become a weekend morning staple in our kitchen. We prepare "big" family breakfasts on the weekends and with this griddle we cook bacon, sausage, pancakes, eggs, hash browns...the works...all together. It fits such large portions, that we can serve hot food all together. It is wonderful! We have a gas stove top and we find that this griddle cooks evenly across the entire surface. There are no "primary hot zones".
