I do love the All-Clad brand of cookware. Before acquiring this saute pan, I had only two items: a roasting pan, which is ideal, and a very small lidded pot, something I have had for at least 20 years. All of my cookware had started out as Caphalon, which I still like except for the discolored interiors.

The new saute pan cooks beautifully. I have to get used to it as it replaces a multi-purpose non-stick pan I had been using for years (well beyond when I should have). It takes much more oil/butter to prevent sticking. And I am not accustomed to that.

The only problem with this line of cookware is the handles. They are really not cook-friendly. Try holding the pan with one hand and trying to empty the contents with the other. The pan wants to roll over. You really have to make an effort and get used to it. Can't imagine why All-Clad does not redesign the handles. It is OK on the tiny pan I have. Same design, but since it is much shorter, it is very manageable.

If you can stand the handle, I highly recommend the pan. It was a bargain as well!

I am a huge fan of all things All-Clad. I have the 6 quart version of this pan as well, but it it frequently too big, and as a result I don't use it very much. This 3 quart size is perfect. I am generally cooking for two people, and everything just fits perfectly.

I love almost everything about this pan I bought it for the stratight sides and its generous size. I've used it multiple times in the short time I've had it and expect to use it a lot more. The only thing I don't like about it is the handle with its concave section. That's hard on my hands. the additional handle on the opposite side does help but I end up using a pot holder even when the pan is cold. i'm looking for a handle cover for it.That said, it is wonderful to cook with. Things heat fast over medium heat which saves energy and it holds heat well. It's also a breeze to clean up. Even if there is something stubborn to get off, a little Bartenders Friend does the trick

I have used a non-stick saute pan for several years and since all the "non-stick" coating was about gone decided to get stainless this time. This pan is just great! I use it several times a week and it cleans up really well too!

This pan has even heat distribution and is a great size for daily cooking. Its also easy to stack/store when the lid is upside down on the pan.
