I had an immersion blender with a plastic blender unit that became misshapen almost immediately from blending hot soups. Its life was short. I ordered this one, and so far it is great. Feels like a quality made product. Good value.

Makes quick work of blending fruits for smoothies and cream soups.

The blending cup that comes with it is too small to use for much.

The blender is working fine so far. I got it mostly to use with soups. I have tried blending smoothies, and it has worked, but I'm a little concerned with the blending jar that came with it. I am thinking of ordering a separate stainless steel blending container I think it may hold up better.

I returned because the container is not microwave safe, which is the main thing I was interested in. 2 speed yeah on and off.
