First impression is that the pans seem sturdy enough and come with info about how to use them to cook and how to season and re-season them, which is a simple process.(And, for people looking for this info, the company is based in Australia and the pans are made in Korea.)
Originally I received a 12" frypan rather than the advertised 11.2" frypan, and the lid did not fit with the pan, which frustrated me as I'd planned to use 11.2" frypan and lid as a saute pan. I sent an e-mail through Amazon.com and CostBuy (seller) contacted me right away and explained that I accidentally received the 12" pan that SafePan was going to start selling in a few months (the error was on SafePan's end in boxing the set, not the seller's end). They sent me a replacement 11.2" pan that fits with the lid. {I deleted original entry so people are not confused by the old info.}
Edit 4/19/10: I have had the pans for a week and seasoned them as instructed (very easy, no problems). I have used the small frypan 3x to make scrambled eggs. As far as non-stick, it is AWESOME!! The instructions do recommend using oil with the pans every time, but not a non-stick oil spray (i.e. Pam). Nothing has stuck to the pan and eggs have scrambled fantastically. However, the top edge is already chipping off the small frypan!! I have contacted the seller. (FYI, the pan has sat in the drying rack and not been stacked with other pans, and I have only used silicone or plastic utensils in the pan, so I don't know why it's already chipping).
Edit 5/18/10: After owning this product for over a month and going through all the rigamarole to get the correct product and replacement from the company (I did receive a replacement 8" pan for the one that was chipping), I've ended up lowering my rating from 4 to 2. The main reason for this is that the coating is coming off the pans. AGAIN. This time it's the large frypan pan that's chipping, and it's been used about 4x since we got the new/correct size. I have been super careful with these pans and educated my husband about them as well. We are careful to place towels between each pan when we put them away and we don't use metal utensils, yet the pan is chipping already (I actually think it's chipping where the lid hits the inside of the pan). To spend over $100 on a 3-pan set and have it (2 pans, actually) chip within the first few weeks is frustrating and I'm already mentally "saving" for having to soon buy another set of pans. I did a ton of research to find a safe, non-PTFE/PFOA pan set, and am not looking forward to doing that again so soon. We'll use these pans until the chipping becomes bad enough that we must replace them, but overall I am extremely disappointed. I love the functionality of the pans, they are great at non-stick and we've had absolutely no burning or problems cooking, but the fact that they are not long-lasting causes me to not recommend these to anyone. I feel like I have to "walk on eggshells" when using these pans so as to not cause chipping, which isn't really functional when using every day to cook meals for my family.

I also got these on Woot. I have been using them for 2 weeks daily and am very impressed. Nothing will stick to these including my favorite snack, fried cheese! Cooking with these gets some getting used to and I wish there was an in between size pan since the 11.5 is a little too big for an omelette and the 8 is just a tad too small. Making a classic French omelette was tricky the 1st time around as the egg does not stick so the vigorous pan movement that i have trained to use with previous pans resulted with egg all over the stove top, once I reduced the 'vigor' the second omelette turned out perfect in less then 30 seconds. I supposed you could even reduce the amount of butter used to make the omelette, but why would you want to do that ;)Honest reviews on SafePan 4 Piece Eco-Nonstick Cookware Set
I understand everyone's concern regarding toxic emissions but would you call it a quality product when the non-scratchable surface shows chipping signs after one use?I would not, so think twice before you buy the SafePan brand.

I got this from WOOT hot deal of the day for like $65?I hopped on amazon real quick, checked out the price of it.. it's pretty pricey and noticed it was a great deal so I jumped on it without expectations..
oh. my. god.
best. pans. ever!
I'm not going to repeat what everyone else has said, nothing sticks to it, no toxic fumes, no teflon flakes, etc etc..
the best thing about these pans?!
they are LIGHTWEIGHT.. they hold and retain heat amazingly which leads to a great cooking experience and unbelievably good tasting food but it doesn't have the heavyweight of cast iron or your cast-iron enamel pans, etc..
seriously, best pans ever and the only thing I use now :) the Wok, the omellete pan and the fry pan covers anything you'd want to make really :)
update: 02-21-09, knocked it down from 5* to 4* simply because it is not oven safe :( that's the only drawback thus far.. I did email safepan and they confirmed that it is not oven safe, they do have upcoming models which will be but these are not. :) otherwise.. best. pans. ever!
