Pot is as expected, however am a bit worried about it's longevity. Thin, small weld points. Pot feels very light. It's for Shabu Shabu or especially Chinese Hot Pot, so am worried also about eventual warping from being exposed to long term high heat.
Pot looks great and it's hard to find this type of pot, much less one with the wave design for the separator

After some mix ups getting the item (I was originally shipped a set of sieves instead of the hot pot cookware that I ordered), I have to say the sautering workmanship is spotty at best. I don't think it will last very long. For those of you who live near an Asian market, try buying one there instead. You won't pay as much, you won't have to pay for shipping, and it will likely be better quality. This divided hot pot is cheaply made, I'm quite disappointed and I don't expect it will have a very long useful cookware life. The seam on the bottom is quite pronounced and with very rough joins. As others have noted, the quality of the pot is readily apparent by handling and looking at it. The thickness of the steel is the concern... It seems to me like a little elbow grease might cause the thin welds/attachment areas to break. I've used it twice so far and it's fine but something to be watchful for in the future.
