We had a SaladMaster demonstrator come to our house this week and I loved the cookware, but couldn't even think about letting go of $4000 for a set. I found several pieces on Amazon that seem to be comparable and one of them is this food processor. I got it yesterday and love it. We actually made the same salad the SaladMaster chef made and it was easy to use, easy to clean for a much better price. The SaladMaster food processor sells for $400, this one works just as well for way less and comes with a Limited Lifetime warranty as well. Great product.

I bought this handy/manual cutter about a month ago. My wife didn't liked at that time because she wanted an electrical cutter. So I used it to cut potatoes, carrots, onions and everything else around the kitchen. After a couple of weeks my wife was convinced that this simple machine was so easy to use and take seconds to clean, and now I am the smart one again. She loves this cutter it cuts so simple and easy and cleaning it takes secods not kidding. The top comes off the base for easy storage. I highly recommend this product.

I was very excited to get this piece of equipment to add to my list of kitchen gadgets as a raw vegan. Being that I work and go to school, I wanted something that would make preparing my meals a little easier than it presently is. However, after a few uses I noticed that the pusher plate would scrape on the suction cup scratching it and removing the chome. I did not like what was happening so I returned it to the seller. I did not buy it from Amazon. The reason why I am writing a review here is to help others. Please note that I used this thing every day for about 2 weeks to prepare my meals before all the scraping of the chrome started happening. I wished I had known about this problem with the machine before I spent so much money. The suction legs are great and they give a very tight grip, the handle is cheap and I was scared it will eventually break. The pusher plate scrapes the chrome off the suction cup as it presses the food in the cup. The problem is this..I don't know what material is under the chrome so I don't know if it will rust overtime. Now I have to go shopping for another.

We (wife and I) got our Maxam Vegetable Chopper in the same bundle as the cookbook and Maxam 17pc Waterless cookware.

First off, this is very sharp and easy to use. Did I say sharp? I mean extremely sharp! So, CAUTION cannot be overstated. This is very much like a chopper my grandmother had back in the 1950's, with an improved design. It is also a specialty item because it gives you those grates, chops, and slices that you cant get with Food Processors, or Veg-I-matic style choppers. This machine does perfect potato chip cuts (smooth and crinkle). It makes quick work of HARD foods and can zest an orange in seconds. Also, it's great for hard cheeses, making coleslaw, etc.

My wife and I LOVE this chopper ... But, there is a drawback that forced me to eliminate a star. All the following cautions center on the same draw back ...

º DO NOT let children under the age of 13 use this item. I slivered a very slim layer of the tip of a finger and I thought I was taking precautions. The error was MY FAULT and not the products.

º Use Thimbles, or Shark Gloves to protect your fingertips.

º Leave enough product as a cushion and/or to use in different recipes ... Potato Skins are a good example.

º Wash blades by hand and dry immediately. Treat them as though they are high quality Chef knives.

º Make sure you press down on the chopper to gain adequate suction to hold the chopper stationary

This device is superb at what it is designed to do, but there is no room for user error.

I highly recommend this chopper for any serious cook.

This is the SAME food chopper my mother used to have!! After my second food processer ceased I went searching and ordered it immediately. This thing is a BEAST!! My 11yr old son loves to use it, it chops and shreds quickly and with little effort. There are some minor differences from Mom's: the body is chrome not stainless, (all chopping cones are stainless however.) There is a fingergaurd now, wish it were not plastic. You can remove the vertical portion of the stand from the horizontal portion for easy storing!!! Mom's did not do that. I love this thing and wipe down the chrome to keep it pretty. The order was filled quickly so I am a happy camper all the way around. Shoot, with no electricity required, you COULD take it camping.....
