If you purchase this you will have plenty of room to add other items. The 7 you receive look like a vase without enough flowers! It measures 5 3/8" from side to side and stands 6 3/16" tall. I have 6 wooden utensils, pair of Cuisinart tongs and a SS long handled coffee scoop in this crock and there is still room for 4 to 5 more items. The plastic is thick, not filmsy, approximately 1/8". The silver trim is not SS but a painted finish. The Cuisinart name on mine was not embossed properly so even though it's centered it turned out to be slightly angled upward on one end and not level. Something you don't see till you have it sitting level on a counter. The utensils themselves are longer ones measuring 15" from tip to tip and all but the large slotted spoon seem very sturdy. The slotted spoon just has a bit more flex in the actual spoon part at it's very tip than the others and I don't know how well it would hold up lifting any really weighty food items. Haven't used that one as yet. The handles on all of them however feel very sturdy. They also clean up nicely by hand (I generally don't put this type of item in the dishwasher so I couldn't say how well that method works at keeping the integrity of the product. Overall, it's a nice, well-made product that should last for several years. My one real gripe is that I truly don't think it was worth over $30. Maybe $25 but certainly not more than that all things considered. In the end, I've opted not to use the crock since I already had a nice stainless steel one that I like better (with no names) and I don't as yet need all the space the Cuisinart crock provides anyway. I was basically only looking to replace some very old, worn utensils that I personally use most often and this seemed like a less expensive way to do that as opposed to purchasing them individually which would have been far more than the over $30 price I paid.

I don't care for the container too much. It's narrow and scratches the countertop because the bottom is not protected. I guess you could protect it yourself, but it has a lip around the edge and you would have to have to cover the whole bottom with a piece of felt or just put it on a pot holder. How tacky is that? This is a very attractive crock with the tools included. I only added the Cuisinart black handle stainless steel fork to the kitchen tools. There is still room for additional pcs. and it looks great on the counter top.
