I bought this to replace a kettle that I bought 10 years ago for $10 that just decided to start leaking.This takes a good deal longer to get to a boil and when it starts to whistle it will immediately spew like Daffy Duck.
The plastic of the lid has already cracked so I am sure I will be reviewing another kettle soon.
The handle is nice as it gives you some distance from the kettle and doesn't get hot.
I cannot say that I love it, but I dont hate it either.
