I bought this mug for my brother's 6th birthday and he LOVES it! It works wonderfully and wipes cleanly. It really does act just like a chalkboard, without the uncomfortable texture, and no "nails on the chalkboard" sounds. Pretty much any chalk works; it's very thick and sturdy-feeling, and has done just well in the microwave. I absolutely LOVE this mug, and so does the rest of my family. They're all very jealous and want one of their own :)

I bought these for my 3 yr old and my 5 yr old. They loved them. I wasn't surprised that my 16 yr old wanted one of her own. Very nice mugs.

We bought 4 of these mugs for ourselves and company. Have been having so much fun coming up with different comments to fit the occasion,whatever it it is. Thease have inspired a LOT of creativity! The size is perfect and the cups are very well made. Great gift idea!

The downside of the Chalk Mug is that when you wright something with chalk and you pour for example cold water to drink, since it's so cold the chalk starts to come off.

The mug is great, it was a gift for my girlfriend to have it at work and she loves it.

You can erase the message and write a new one every time.

The chalk is a little "weird" but it works OK.
