I needed a cover to fit a specialty fry pan and other pots with difficult dimensions. This top fits the bill. In some ways it acts as an universal top, albeit a large one.

The inner rim allows a tighter fit for pans a little smaller than the 14 inch dimension. The quality is present with a large enough top handle to comfortably fit the hand.

I got tired of a makeshift lid for my 14" wok. This lid fit perfectly. It is exactly what I needed.

Because of the resessed lid, you have to make sure you don't have too much in the skillet. Other than that, it is fine.

Its a handy flat cover so it will cover more than just 14 inch pots, but the handle is a little shallow so I can't say I love it.

THIS 14" is not 14". I bought a Cuisinart stainless steel fry pan. It did not come with a top. This top fell short of 14" by about 1/8"
