It is a well made, nicely finished pan, but it is a quart low (in capacity.) It does weigh 8-1/2 pounds per the description.

The interior dimensions of the pan are: 91-1/2" long X 6-1/4" wide X 3-1/4" deep. It is nice enough to keep even though I was looking for the extra volume.

Great size for cooking for 2-4 people, just right. The price was great too. I'd recommend buying this dutch oven to anyone.
