These Rachael Ray mixing bowel set I purchased are a wonderful collection to my kitchen. I enjoy spending time cooking and these bowels are exactly what I was looking for. The versatility and stability of these items are a bonus that I don't have to worry about if they are used in the oven, microwave or the dishwasher. I give them a full 5 stars and since I enjoyed these sizes so much I purchased the larger 3-quart and am now looking to purchase the lasagna baking dishes to match.

These are great bowls. They have a nice ergonomic feel and work great for hand or electric mixing. But they are heavy. If you have trouble lifting they may not be for you.

Some buyers may be turned off by the high price point for only two mixing bowls. They are definitely very versitile, though, and shouldn't be limited to just mixing. They can be used for pretty much anything (salad, pasta, etc) depending on the portion size, which these definitely help for portion control. Even though they are of a decent size, they nest very well in the cabinet and within other Rachael Ray stoneware products (I have them set in a Bubble and Brown). I was very impressed with the weight of these and, like other users have said, these definitely cut down on dirty dishes since it can be used in the oven, counter, table top, etc. My only wish would be that all three were sold in a set and possibly at a bit of a discount for buying all three.

very nice piece all around. microwave, dishwasher safe and oven proof up to 500 degrees. the handle makes for easy pouring and holding while using a spatula. Nest great even with the larger size not included, sold separately, all 3 work and look great.
