I have been looking for a solid and durable tea kettle for a while and it seems I found it. It looks great too!

The shape of this kettle means the water heats to a boil quickly. And the color is gorgeous. Not a single complaint.

Chose this for the name and design, hoping to have it for the rest of our lives.
Drips water from the spout all down the side no matter how you pour it or how much water is in it.
Looks great and boils fast but you can tell once it's in your hands that the quality is just not there.
Many review of the whistles either not working either or fading out over time, however we don't have that issue.
The whistle assembly does look a little cockeyed though. You'd expect this from a $10 kettle, not a $60+ kettle.
Returning asap, will unfortunately not get another Le Creuset kettle.
Honest reviews on Le Creuset Enamel-on-Steel Zen 1-2/3-Quart Teakettle, Marseille
I had searched for quite a while to find a teakettle that I could fill from my refrigerator water spout. This has a moveable handle that makes filling possible. Another winning feature is that the whistle can be flipped up so that you don't have to hear it whistle every time you use it! Of course, Le Creuset quality can't be beat. The style is different; I like the Zen style, and the size of the base fits nicely on my electric stove top. I highly recommend this product!

I read the other reviews before purchasing. This is a perfect kettle. The whistle blows loud and strong, and the water boils in about 7 minutes about the same as my old electric kettle. The water pours perfectly into the tea pot or French press. The handle gets hot and you cannot lift it with your bare hand (hot pad, tea towel etc all work) BUT this is not a criticism what do you expect from a stove top kettle? I recommend this kettle and will likely be purchasing more for gifts at Christmas and weddings.
