I also have the Le Creuset 6 Qt and wanted a smaller version. Both are lime green and I absolutely love them. They are heavy, but that's what you want for baking or stove top. I have arthritis in my hands but have not found it difficult to carry from counter to oven. Easy to clean, though the ivory interior does stain. So what! I also have the Oval Au Gratin Baker, perfect for baking fish or desserts...so many uses. I personally don't think a kitchen is complete without Le Creuset products. This big beautiful pot in kiwi is a joy to cook with. I've made chilli, soups, boiled shrimp and many other dishes and each time I find pleasure in using this. It is extremely heavy so I usually leave it on the stove where I can admire it.This pan is the Rolls Royce of cookware in terms of looks and
quality. Le Creuset enameled cast iron dutch ovens are worth the crazy price for the fun they give in using them.
And ease of cleanup is remarkable. The enameled interior is so slick nothing ever sticks to it. Hot soapy water swished around in it cleans it perfectly. I'm a collector of Le Creuset now.
I did have something burn black on the botton while making chilli but Barkeeper's Friend Bar Keepers Friend® Cleanser & Polish: 12 OZ took it off easily.
