I got this set for a wedding present almost 3 years ago and I still use it all the time!! It works well in the oven, for storing leftovers and serving dishes at the table. It really cuts back on dishes. The classic style make it suitable for any decor and clean up is a breeze. I have never had a problem getting it clean. Great set!!!

As a teenager, I often find it difficult to shop for my parents. This dish set screamed "MOM GIFT" though, and the price was very fair, so I quickly bought it. When the boxed wares arrived, however, one of the small ramekins had a large chip in it, and the medium oval dish was completely destroyed. After searching for quite a bit of time for a means of having the dishes replaced, I uncovered a customer service number (1-800-201-7575) that directed me to a representative who quickly solved my broken-dish problem and order a whole new shipment for me! The service I recieved from the helpful customer service staff made all the difference. Besides the broken wares, the purchase seemed to have been a good idea!

I got some of these pieces 27 years ago when I bought a certificate of deposit from a bank.

I still have them and they look just as good as they did then. Strange to say that something so inexpensive is an investment, but they are.

After all these years, I bought more.

We purchased 4 sets of these fabulous sets (one to keep, three to gift). all the pieces in the set are just the right size for our family of 4.

One thing to look out for is shipping damage. Out of the 4 sets, 2 had broken pieces. Amazon replaced those sets, with two new sets both of the new sets had broken pieces but between the 4 damaged sets, I was able to put together 2 whole, good sets.

This was not a packing deficiency on Amazon's part the sets are just not packed well inside the sealed boxes.

The plastic "refrigerator" covers are a little difficult to get on, but seal well once you do manage to get them covered. I wish all 4 of the big containers had the covers, but only two of them do.

I also received my set with a broken piece, but Amazon was more than gracious in replacing it with no cost to me. There is definitely a packaging problem, but I cannot say the same for the actual product. The Corningware is multi-functional and in french white, very stylish. This stuff lasts forever and takes quite a bit of abuse!
