I bought a fry pan for this from a different place, finding it $40 cheaper was the reason. problem is, the skillet does not come with this lid(why not!?!!?) so i had to buy it separatly. I was lucky that amazon had it. The lid is good, just like for other berndes cookware i own. Only downside is that the handle gets a little hot, so use a towel. But, the lid is mandatory for any fry pan. Just a shame, that they do not come together.

When I started using the 13-inch non-stick skillet from Berndes, it opened a new world of fat-free cooking--the best pan I'd ever owned. But sometimes, I needed to cover some dish I was cooking and the only thing I had large enough was a cookie sheet--it worked, but awkwardly. So I sent for this glass lid, and I now have the perfect combination. The lid fits the skillet to a T and functions by keeping moisture and heat inside the pan when that's what I require. This lid fits perfectly on my pan. I like to see how my meal is progressing without removing the lid and thereby letting out the heat so I also like the glass. I would recommend this product.
