I love this pan. It's easy to saute' in prior to making soup, marinara sauce, or any other kind of sauce. I'm convinced that de Buyer's are way ahead of any of the "designer" pans out there. That they are reasonably priced, actually "cheap" compared to the pricing on the designer brands, in no way takes away from their outrageous performance. I wish I had known about these early on. The only thing that performs as well are my wife and I's grandmothers cast iron. These are truly non-stick when they are cured properly. Love em. You can't go wrong with these. I purchsed this item as well as three of my other de Buyer's from Amazon.

I seasoned this pan on top of the stove using very very thin layers of flaxseed oil. Worked perfectly. It was nonstick the very first time I used it after the season.Best Deals for de Buyer Mineral Pan, Saute Pan
Quick Heat, Even Cooking and wonderful result.Clean up is with plan water, which soaks off anything that may be sticking. wipe down with a paper towel.

Outstanding! This is a great and very versatile pan. It takes a while to season the pan, but the results are worth the wait.
