After years of skimping on cookware, I decided it was time for an upgrade. I did my research and chose to replace my worn and tired pots and pans with All Clad. I like to purchase pots and pans "open stock" so I don't get pots I don't use. The 3.5 Qt pot is a workhorse in my kitchen. I use it everyday. It heats evenly, and the handle stays cool. It's not only functional and durable, it's beautiful as well. It cleans up easily with Bar Keepers Friend. I highly recommend All Clad cookware.

After getting some pieces of All-Clad as a wedding present a few years ago, I would never even consider using anything else to cook with. The heating is even and the pieces are bomb-proof. My husband, the dishwasher, likes the fact that no matter how cooked on the food gets, they hand wash clean with minimal effort. We have owned an Amway Queen cookware set for decades; it has been doing a great job but when our 3 quart saucepan was damaged by overheating we decided to replace just that one.I checked out the alternatives and decided on this All-Clad saucepan. It came in yesterday and looks and feels perfect. It is sparkling and shiny and looks much better than the picture on the Amazon web page. The pan uses 18/10 stainless steel and the 3-ply construction which features an aluminum core for more even heat distribution.
I also checked the location of manufacture and saw the saucepan itself was made in the USA, but the lid was made in China; that seems like a reasonable trade-off.
Our Amway Queen saucepan was damaged by letting it get too hot; All-Clad recommends that cooking with this saucepan be done over low and medium heat settings. The saucepan comes with the All-Clad Lifetime Warranty.
One reviewer commented on the weight of the pan, in comparison with our Amway Queen cookware the All-Clad seems much the same. We didn't notice any unusual weight with this pan in comparison.
The price on this pan was much better than the competitive prices I found and the appearance is beautiful; my wife was excited by the pans beauty and feel. We're looking forward to using it.
Should anything else develop, I will update this review, but for now we're really happy to have it.

All-Clad kitchen cookware is great. Love their products and this mid-sized saucepan (pot) is great for most of my stovetop cooking/heating projects. Heavy weight for even cooking. Arrived safely for seller.
