While this is a really great little turner, the product dimensions that are given in the product description are NOT correct! The overall length of the turner is 10 5/8 inches. The dimensions on the flat working area area of the turner are 4 1/4 inches long (1/4 inch longer) by 2 7/16 inches wide (almost a half inch wider). The 2 x 4 inch dimensions are definitely not correct. I am disappointed, because I really needed a turner that is exactly 2 inches wide. I was even more dissapointed, because I passed up a clone of this Berndes turner, here at Amazon, that was selling for less than half the price of the Berndes turner, with no S+H charges for the clone. In fact the selling price of the clone turner was less than the S+H charges from CSN, the third party seller of the Berndes turner.

This spatula is very practical: Flat tip for light scraping of quality non-stick cookware; firmer than most spatulas of this size, yet flexible enough to turn eggs; V shaped handle is firm and long enough for larger hands to utilize comfortably; has tolerated skillet heat I utilize for eggs, fish, chicken, etc..

Ours warped slightly and developed worn edges very quickly. After using the Berndes for about two years, and throwing it in the dishwasher regularly, it's still holding up but is not pristine. I'll need to replace it in about a year.

However, this is the most comfortable spatula/turner that I have used. It fits in fry pans very well, and because it's slightly long, turning eggs, burgers, etc is easier. I would buy more in the Alexander Hamilton price range, but anything over a Hamilton plus a Lincoln is outrageous, considering the price to quality (aka QPR). I think I bought this one at Ross for a Lincoln.

I bought this spatula for my wife 15 years ago at some kitchen store and by now just worn out at the edges! After one of our kids left it at a school function last week, I was bummed. Found the exact one here! It's the best all in one design so easy cleaning, perfect tension to flip eggs, pancakes, whatever. Great product, so I'm purchasing another.
