This pot is the perfect size to make a meal for 2-3 people. You can't beat cast iron for it's heat retention but it can be a hassle to clean, dry, keep oiled...etc. This pot has a gorgeous enamel on the outside and a glaze on the inside that helps prevent sticking. Is it as non-stick as a Teflon pan...no; but it's easy to use and easy to clean. I use mine all the time and just keep it on the stove top, it's that pretty.

Fantastic cookware. This piece was a gift for my daughter, however I have 5 pieces of Staub and I love it.
