I really shopped for this all over, for a LONG time. It arrived quickly, in perfect condition, precisely as described, and I love it. I've used it a couple of times already I make a lot of soup, and in large quantities to share with my elderly parents. This is about as big a pot as anyone could ever need, it fits perfectly on the stove, the walls are plenty thick enough & the lid fits perfectly. I feel like I really came out the winner with this choice!

This piece of cookware has everything I want in a stockpot: Heavy layered bottom, great size, glass lid, very reasonable price. The bottom is heavy enough to use for browning meats. A great addition to my cookware collection.

Overall, I think this is a good pot for the price. The base was not quite as thick and heavy as I expected, but I think it still is a good quality overall. Very happy with it, and it shipped VERY quickly.

I LOVE this pot. I don't know how I managed before I got this. I chuckle to think I used to make chicken stock in my 5 quart soup pot. What a pain. I had to constantly add water and make sure it didn't bubble over. 16 quarts is the perfect size! I thought I wanted a 20 qt. pot, but that would be too big to manage. This one still fits well in my sink to wash and just fits on my pantry shelf and in my fridge with the lid inverted. I can make 3 gallons of stock with ease. It has made canning apple sauce and peaches so much easier. I can now boil corn on the cob for more than 5 people. We don't have to use a paint bucket to brine our Thanksgiving turkey anymore. I've had this pot for a year now and it looks as good as new. I love that the tubular handles stay pretty cool. Even when stock has been cooking for 8 hours you don't need pot holders on the handles (you do for the lid though). I like the little steam hole in the glass lid because it helps keep the glass clear so the contents are visible without removing the lid. The only slight flaw is that my pot has a tiny nick in the inside that catches my dish rag when I wash it. I can't see it with my eyes, just feel it. I guess the buffer just missed a spot. Doesn't have any affect on the cooking performance. You can't beat the price for this pot either! It may not be as heavy duty as other pots out there, but it hasn't let anything burn for my yet. Me and my wimpy arms are happy that this big pot doesn't weigh a ton!

Pot and lid appeared to be decent quality but with only a couple of uses in less than three months, the bottom rusted. I am concerned that the interior will also rust. I would not recommend purchasing this product.
