I bought these because they were supposed to be stainless steel, but as others have said they are not.

The first thing I did was to take a magnet and see what they did...they are magnetic.

Stainless steel is not magnetic.

They are what they are, and better than wooden ones since you can't burn them. Perfect for little grills like the Webber Smokey Joe.

Those skewers work wonderfully. Be careful when handling them while they're on the grill as the metal ring portion also gets very very hot and can burn you if you don't know what you're doing.

I also bought another set of similar skewers that has the little rectangular frame for holding the skewers. I would not recommend the frame skewer holder because the skewers just rotate on there by themselves due to the weight of the food. Just get the skewers.
