I really LOVE this dish so pretty, so functional, perfect size for mac and cheese for us love love LOVE the colour and appearance. My ONLY downgrade is that if you use it in the regular oven, be SURE to use an oven 'glove' to lift the lid and it stays hot way too long, I got a little finger burn after it had been out of the oven for several minutes. Corning, are you listening? Other than that, this pattern of Cornings is my favourite yet. And SOOO easy to clean! Recommended!

The product is listed as 12.5" x 8.5". Even the outside dimensions with the handles do to account for 12.5". The bottom surface is 8" x 5" which is kind of small. I will keep it but was expecting something bigger.

Best Deals for CorningWare Etch Casserole with Cover

I was trying to replace a deep, square casserole that Corning used to make. That one finally broke after decades of great use. This one is too shallow and narrow to fit a lot of chicken parts or sweet potato pieces in. Yet, it holds the same 2 1/2 quarts. Pretty design though, and love the handles. It did arrive with terrible under-packaging. I marveled that it survived the trip.

Thought I was getting a Corning Ware dish but it's simply clay so you can't take it from the frig to the oven. However, it's beautiful so I gave it as a wedding gift.

I love this caserole dish because it's deep and the see through glass cover makes the food inside look enticing when on the talbel as well as keeps it hot. Excellent purchase and well priced.
