This item makes good omelettes in a short time (about 2.5 minutes) and is easy to use. I like the fact that it is see-through. I use mine a lot and thus far it hasn't tended to blister or flake which is something that can sometimes happen with the solid white plastic omelette makers. After some usage, I noticed my white one starting to look and feel a little "rough" in spots. Although barely visible on the white one unless you search for it, I'd just as soon not take the chance of eating any plastic, however small. If this one starts to blister or flake, I'll report back. Although supposedly non-stick, I do spray mine with a little cooking spray. I find the omelettes just come out easier that way. The price is right and I'm ordering another one of these.Best Deals for Cuisine Magic Micro Magic Omelette Cooker
I have used this product for a couple of months now and I love it. My son has always liked omelets(ham and cheese) which I was making in a pan. When I got this little guy I was unsure of the quality of the omelet since I had never tried microwaving eggs before. My son loves the omelets that I make using this product. Usually I use 3 large or 2 jumbo eggs along with sharp cheddar cheese and diced ham. I have a 1100 watt oven. 1.5 minutes with both sides open and just eggs. Then I add the cheese and ham and cook for 30 seconds more still open. Then I close the unit and cook another 30-40 seconds. This cooks the eggs completely but not to the point of being dry. Then I let it sit for a couple of minutes still closed to finish cooking with the internal heat. The unit keeps the heat inside very well. Try it. This is much faster and easier than the pan method of making omelets. The only down side(if any) is that you cannot make very large omelets(5-6 egg) with this unit.Honest reviews on Cuisine Magic Micro Magic Omelette Cooker

This is the third omeletteCuisine Magic Micro Magic Omelette Cooker maker I have purchased but the first from this company "Cuisine Magic". This omelet maker leaks when you turn it over, the hinge comes apart and it messed up the microwave tray the first time I used it. I'm sorry I spent the money. I'd return it but it's not worth it. I'll stick to the Progressive brand that I have previously ordered.I only ordered this brand because you could see through it. Not worth the "advantage." Maybe I just got a faulty one.
NEW INFORMATION: MARCH, 2013
Oh, I wrote the maker about this hinge problem and the leaking. Guess what? He said that I must be mistaken, that the hinges are fine. Then he sent me THREE MORE!! Free! (oy)
