This double spout pot is so useful since I have been known to use either hand to pour. I am left handed (usually), but it depends upon where I want to pour, which hand I use. It's light weight and very easy to clean by hand. I never use the dishwasher, the water is too hot, and the loud noise scares the cats! I am going to order several other of these pieces, and (sigh) give away my expensive and ultra heavy copper cookware which requires weekly, tiresome cleaning with Barkeepers. This Anolon is so elegant and different from all other cookware. The small size of this piece is perfect for sauces, one can of soup, reheating small amounts of leftovers. I called the manuf. and was told they are indeed 18/0 stainless. Nothing wrong with that! They can be used on the new stove tops, my range is gas though. I was told metal utensils are OK, but this being softer metal, I do use wood. I have oxo mixing bowls with 18/0 interiors and I use metal on those and even the metal beater and it's fine. Several years ago I purchased Kitchen Aid knives on Amazon that were Black handles with Silver tips. They match this line of pots exactly! I can't find the exact ones now, but there are several others like it. I admit I bought these for looks, but they they cook just fine.
