I looked for a long time for a universal lid that fits my All-Clad pans, and this does that. My only complaint is its thinness. It's already slightly warped (no, I haven't put it in the dishwasher).

Handle was on the wrong side -the concave side -unable to use this way. I would not recommend.

This is a very helpful item to have in the kitchen. It fits very well over my large wok and is adaptable to smaller pans as well. It is a good quality stainless with a decent thickness. The vent works by simply turning the handle slightly.

For packaging and shipping purposes the handle was screwed onto the underside of the lid, making the whole thing look quite strange at first. The handle is simply attached with a Phillips machine screw and a washer, so it was easy to remove and reattach.

As with almost every stainless steel accessory I've ever bought of this type, the manufacturer neglected to use a stainless steel screw or washer to attach the handle; therefore, after a time these small parts are becoming rusty. It will be an easy and inexpensive fix, however, to remove and carry them to the hardware store to find stainless replacements.

The handle plastic is very sturdy and should last for a very long time.

I'm not sure this is stainless steel. I think it might be aluminum...I'm not certain. But I needed this particular diameter and that part was correct. It's a pan lid for God's Sake...what do you expect?
