First, the size of this pan is rather large (but not too large). To give a comparison, 2.5 Qt is 2.36 liters. The largest plastic soda bottle is 2 liters. You can fill this pan with the entire content of a large plastic soda bottle and still have some room left over.

Second, this pan distributes heat very evenly. You can clearly see this when you boil water. The bubbles rise from the entire bottom surface of the pan. The result is cookware excellence.

But there are some drawbacks, the foremost of which is the lid, which is cheaply made and is slightly too large for this pan (but it still does its job). I suppose creating a lid that fits perfectly would cost more money.

Lastly, this cookware doesn't look quite as elegant as its much more expensive All-Clad competition.

Overall, if you are looking for an excellent cookware that distributes heat very evenly, this pan fits that bill. But if you are looking to impress your friends and family, this cookware falls short of that All-Clad beauty, fit, and finish.

I have a few of these pans and I love them all. Easy to clean and perfect for cooking. Start on the cool side of cooking so you dont mess up the pans. As you get use to them, you will perfect cooking in them.

The product is pretty well built and has nice finish. However the handle can have little more polish for the price. Also, it is on the heavy side. Handle is nice and long.

The main problem with this pan is its lid. It gets very hot during cooking. I had to use something to open the lid to prevent burning. I think Calphalon Contemporary Stainless-Steel 2-Quart Chef's Pan with Glass Lid is a better buy for the money, with no lid issues.
