We've had a great time making pancakes and eggs in this pan. The kids love them. Keep in mind, these are small pancakes, so it takes a while to cook up a meal. I'm thinking of buying another pan (with different animals) so I can get two sets going at a time. We use some spray on olive oil and have had no problem with sticking or with clean up. Took a couple of tries to get the temperature right, but once we found it, the fun was on.

This broke our glass stovetop the first time we used it. We had to buy a new stove because of that. There is no warning on the label. We read online that the cast iron coils under each animal face cause a seal with the stove top and traps the heat. The heat builds up and breaks the stovetop.

The pan is great, but the handle is plastic and if you heat the pan to the proper temperature for pancakes, the handle starts to melt filling your kitchen with the smell of melting plastic. The melting handle makes this pan un-useable.

this is really well built and a good idea. but because of the design the pancakes are difficult to flip off of the pan. the best method i found was to flip them onto another griddle which is fine because there's little point to have the pictures grilled into both sides of the pancake. I really like this idea, but be aware of this complication.

I bought this pan to make pancakes for my niece and nephew, who are five years old (twins). I think the animal shapes are just the right size for their appetites. I only feel that the pan should have been deeper so that the excess oil or pancake batter doesn't leak out onto the stove when cooking.
