Real great industrial cleaver, about 4 pounds. But only if you think you can be able to consistently chop with it. Real nice. Very strong. 9" blade and 6" handle!!! Total 14". Huge!!!

This thing is an absolute BEAST. If you can't cut through just about anything in your Kitchen either Home or Commercial using this thing, then you are either cutting with horrible technique, or you're just too old to be hacking apart meat and bones.

It's a bit heavy, so that helps and hurts at the same time: better stability and Cleaving power; harder on the shoulders and forearms. But if you can manage to lift this thing repeatedly throughout your day, I don't imagine it ever failing you. It comes a little more dull than a Chinese/Japanese Cleaver, but that's because Asian Cleaver's sometimes double as Chef's Knives... this was not built for that purpose. This was built for Hacking apart the anatomy of your soon-to-be dinner.

Great deal, built well. Not for the weak however.

This is a fantastic meat cleaver. It is heavy with a well designed ergonomic handle. It fits very nicely in my hand. Sharpen it before you use it for the first time. It does not fit into a knife block though and that is its only draw back. This is a very sturdy dependable knife that can easily butcher a deer or buffalo.

I just used it for the first time and it worked out pretty good. It's a bit on the heavy side but it works great for cutting through the thicker bones.
