American made stockpot is perfect to use with an Electric Induction Range. The great heat-distribution that would apply to all gas and electric ranges as well. Easy to clean and maintains it appearance with simple applications. Comparable to other cookware costing much more.Best Deals for American Kitchen Tri-Ply Stainless-Steel 8-Quart Covered Stockpot
This is such a great stock pot. It was very important to me to find a pot made in the USA and it was nice to find a different company besides AllClad. The tri ply is really nice to have and helps prevent burning. The pot is solid and easy to clean. I would highly recommend.Honest reviews on American Kitchen Tri-Ply Stainless-Steel 8-Quart Covered Stockpot
I have mostly All-Clad pots in my collection. Even though I'm a struggling college student, I have very patiently amassed a nice collection through eBay, shopping at TJ Maxx and Marshalls for all of my home chef needs. I got tired of buying cheap Teflon after finding flakes in my food, hence the switch to something of better quality that will be worth passing down one day to my children. I like the look of the LTD2 but I just use large size pots for boiling corn or potatoes. You needn't spend 200+ on a pot to do just that. This one is wonderful for such purposes. Add to it the fact that you're paying less for roughly the same quality and construction, and voila! Only gripe is that I have an electric stove top and have pretty much babied this pot. Yet, this morning when I washed it and set it to dry I could see the imprint of the coils from the pot inside where it was seared. It looks like it's going to be permanent. For this reason, I am taking off a star. I did not burn this pot and only used it to boil pasta, my other pots have taken many a beating in the kitchen and do not have the scars to prove it that this one does. From minimal usage at that. I haven't even had the pot a full month yet!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for American Kitchen Tri-Ply Stainless-Steel 8-Quart Covered Stockpot
I'm willing to spend and have spent $$$ on quality in the kitchen with most of my well-used, well-loved pieces being All Clad with no regrets. However, I don't want to waste money and when I found this mid-priced but seemingly just as high quality as my All Clad pieces I had to try it.This pot, as far as I can tell without an actual All Clad 8 qt pot here to compare it to, is of the same quality for half the price and only seems to be lacking handles stamped with "All Clad." Since that doesn't matter to me (the style meshes nicely with what I already have), I am an ecstatic American Kitchen convert!!
I'm so pleased to have a go-to company that doesn't soak customers for the brand name, is made in the USA, and is of the quality I would have paid the ultra big bucks for. I always assumed that the choice was between a $40 inferior pot or a $250 All Clad pot. Now that I've discovered American Kitchen, that's where I'll go first from now on, and I recommend everyone gives it a try you'll be thrilled you did, too.
